Murad Mahmood

As CFO, Murad Mahmood has more than 25 years of experience working in finance for both PE backed and publicly traded organizations. Murad is responsible for leading the company’s finance organization, guiding the corporate strategy and interfacing with CrashPlan’s Board of Directors and investors. He partners with the CEO and management team to achieve key financial and strategic goals. Murad oversees Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Treasury, Reporting/Analytics and CISO functions. Before joining CrashPlan, Murad was the CFO of two PE backed companies over the last 5 years (HealthCentral and Frontpoint). Prior to that, he was VP of FPA at Stride/K-12 (publicly traded) for 2 years and spent 17 years in various finance roles at AOL (publicly traded).
